Living with Advanced Illness Centre

Care beyond the bedside.

Our Living with Advanced Illness Centre services include individual and family counselling for clients of all ages living with any advanced illness. Their family members and close friends are offered support from the point of diagnosis, for as long as needed. We are here to help people manage well at home for as long as they can. Available Services

A Virtual Tour of our Centre and Programs

Counselling services and programs to support those living with any advanced illness and their family members, with some of the families having children 19 and under. Counselling for individuals, families, and caregivers is currently available online and in-person.

Peer Connection can help establish connection, build resilience and community while living with advanced illness. Our Companion Program and Bereavement Telephone Support Program are part of our peer support services.

Our practical tools and resources support individuals, professionals and community advocates who are grieving or supporting others.

The Living with Advanced Illness Centre supports individuals and families as they adjust to the changes in their lives when someone close to them is living with an advanced illness or has died. Our seminars and workshops offer tools and strategies for those grieving or supporting others.
