Living with Advanced Illness & Grief

We are here to help people manage well, at home, for as long as they are able. Our Community Hospice services include individual and family counselling for clients of all ages living with advanced illness. Their family members and close friends are offered support from the point of diagnosis, for as long as needed. We also offer group support through our Living With Cancer Program and our Living Through Loss Program.

Individual & Family Counselling

Our Community Hospice counselling services and programs support individuals and families facing advanced illness. The team helps our clients navigate through challenging times. Clients include those living with advanced illness and their family members, with some of the families having children 19 and under.

Counselling sessions can be held where most convenient for the clients.

Peer Connection

Group programs can help establish connection, build resilience and community. For adults with advanced cancer and their caregivers we offer the Living With Cancer Program. Following a death, we bring adult clients together through our Living Through Loss group. We also provide Volunteer Telephone Bereavement Support for as long as we are needed.
