Children’s Grief Centre Counsellor - 1.0 FTE - Permanent
Are you a registered mental health professional and have experience working with children and families?

The Children’s Grief Centre Counsellor position is responsible for providing assessments and therapeutic counselling support to children, teens, and their families. Working within a clinical team and independently, the position provides specialized support to clients experiencing emotional and psychological issues prevalent in grief, complicated grief, and trauma.

The Senior Director of Operations is responsible for enhancing the internal organizational processes and infrastructure supporting Hospice Calgary to grow and fulfill its mission. Reporting to the Executive Director, the position provides strong leadership that assists with the management of day-to-day operations. The role supports human resources, strategic and business plan activities, community relations, and quality improvement functions across the organization and at both Hospice Calgary sites.

Rosedale Hospice Evening Cook – Part-Time/Evening - Temporary
Would you like to prepare comforting, home-made meals for patients and their families?
Are you interested in helping to create a home-like environment where the little things make all the difference to patients and families in their last days?
Do you want to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team of employees and volunteers?
The Evening Cook plays an important role in the house:
- Reports to the House Manager
- Provides “home-cooking” for patients and their loved ones
- Prepares meals and baking
- Cleans and monitors inventory to ensure a food safe environment
- Assists other staff and volunteers as necessary
- Evening shifts - 4 hours (4:00-8:00pm)

Counselling Practicum for Masters Students
Hospice Calgary, through its Children's Grief Centre, offer one counselling practicum per year for students enrolled in a post graduate counselling degree.Our practicum program is currently full. Our next opportunity for a practicum placement will be for the 2022-2023 academic year. We will post information for how to apply in the first months of 2022.
