Counselling Practicum for Masters Students
Hospice Calgary, through its Children's Grief Centre, offer one counselling practicum per year for students enrolled in a post graduate counselling degree.
Under the current circumstances, we will continue to press pause on our practicum placement program. We are committed to providing a rich and supportive practicum placement. Given the limitations related to the COVID-19 pandemic and our inability to ensure an in-person team environment, strong and constant support, and rich client experience through diverse programs and services, we have made the difficult decision to delay our recruitment into our practicum program. We invite you to keep an eye on our website for news that we're ready to move forward with this important program. Stay well.
Enquiries regarding our Children's Grief Centre practicum program can be sent to Nadine Gariepy-Fisk, Director of the Children's Grief Centre.
