Are you an experienced Counsellor with a minimum of 5 years counselling experience working with children, teens, and families who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and providing client and family centered care?
As a counsellor at the Children's Grief Centre, your primary caseload will consist of families with children ages 19 and younger. You will provide short and long term grief and trauma-focused counselling to children, teens and their families who are grieving a sudden or expected death. Practicums

Counselling Practicum for Masters Students

Hospice Calgary, through its Children’s Grief Centre, offers a high quality, well-established, and supportive practicum program for students in their last year of a post graduate counselling degree.

The next opportunity to join our practicum program will be for the 2023-2024 academic year. We will post information on when and how to apply in the first months of 2023.
