Child & Family Counsellor, Living with Advanced Illness Centre

Permanent, 1.0 FTE with benefits

Are you an experienced counsellor, passionate about client and family centred care? Do you enjoy collaborating and communicating with others?

The Child & Family Counsellor provides exceptional psychosocial grief counselling support utilizing a strong skillset of therapeutic modalities, to support children, teens, young adults and families faced with an advanced illness, through to end-of-life and death.

Master’s degree in Social Work, or Counselling required.

Fund Development Officer, Hospice Calgary

The Fund Development Officer is responsible for generating donations and advancing the mission of Hospice Calgary’s programs by fostering strong relationships with donors.

Practicums

Hospice Calgary, through its Children’s Grief Centre, offers a high quality, well-established, and supportive practicum program for students in their last year of a post graduate counselling degree.

Counselling Practicum for Masters Students

The next opportunity to join our practicum program will be for the 2025-2026 academic year. We will post information on when and how to apply in the first months of 2025.
