Intake Coordinator, Children’s Grief Centre

Permanent, 1.0 FTE

Are you passionate about family and person-centered care?

The Intake Coordinator position is a critical role supporting the Children’s Grief Centre and the Living with Advanced Illness Centre. It is the initial point of contact and assessment for people seeking short and long-term grief and trauma-focused counselling.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in the human services field. Bachelor’s degree in social work, child and youth care, or related field required.

Practicums

Hospice Calgary, through its Children’s Grief Centre, offers a high quality, well-established, and supportive practicum program for students in their last year of a post graduate counselling degree.

Counselling Practicum for Masters Students

Thank you for your interest in participating in a practicum opportunity with the Children’s Grief Centre. The next opportunity to join our practicum program will be for the 2026-2027 academic year. Our website will have information on when and how to apply in the first months of 2026.
