Fund Development Officer, Hospice Calgary

1.0 FTE, Permanent Full Time

Are you relationship-oriented with excellent communication skills? Do you have a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of others?

The Fund Development Officer is responsible for advancing the mission of Hospice Calgary by fostering strong relationships with donors and volunteers. The position generates donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations by managing a portfolio of donors and prospects.

Membership with Alberta Fundraising Professionals (AFP) is considered an asset

Counsellor, Children's Grief Centre

Part-Time and Full-Time Positions avaliable

Are you an experienced counsellor, passionate about client and family centered care?

The position provides short and long term grief and trauma-focused counselling to children, teens, and their families who are grieving a sudden or expected death. Facilitates group support for children, teens, and parents and advocates for community support and access to appropriate resources.

*MSW or MA Counselling required.

Practicums

Hospice Calgary, through its Children’s Grief Centre, offers a high quality, well-established, and supportive practicum program for students in their last year of a post graduate counselling degree.

Counselling Practicum for Masters Students

The next opportunity to join our practicum program will be for the 2025-2026 academic year. We will post information on when and how to apply in the first months of 2025.
