Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink

Birdies for Kids is in full swing! Between now and August 15, donations made to us through Shaw Birdies for Kids will be matched up to 50% thanks to AltaLink. Every donation will help children, teens, families, and individuals find the support, hope, and compassion they need when going through a difficult time. For example, a $120 donation subsidizes one counselling session fee for an individual or family faced with grief and loss.

Hospice Calgary is very thankful for being one of the local charities selected to be part of the Shaw Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink. The Birdies for Kids program is designed to help raise new funds for local charities, engage the community in the tournament, and provide matching funds for each charity involved.

We receive 100% of all donations to Hospice Calgary, which will go directly to supporting our programs and services.

• Donations can be made to the Shaw Charity Classic Foundation matching pool or directly to a participating charity
• Donations directed to a participating charity are matched up to 50% using the Foundation matching pool
• All administrative costs are covered by the tournament, meaning 100% of all donations will go directly to Hospice Calgary
