Counsellor, Children’s Grief Centre
0.5 FTE, Permanent Part-Time
Are you an experienced Counsellor with a minimum of 5 years counselling experience working with children, teens, and families who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and providing client and family centered care?
As a counsellor at the Children’s Grief Centre, your primary caseload will consist of families with children ages 19 and younger. You will provide short and long term grief and trauma-focused counselling to children, teens and their families who are grieving a sudden or expected death. Counsellors also facilitate group support for children, teens and parents and advocate for community support and access to appropriate resources.
