This two-day clinical workshop is intended for: teachers, counsellors, social workers, psychologists, health and mental health professionals, and others who work with children and teens.
This workshop is appropriate for Intermediate levels of practice.
Qualifies for six (6) Continuing Education Category ?A? Credits. Certificates of Completion will be presented to participants at the conclusion of the 6 hour workshop.
Hospice Calgary, provider #1194, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) Program. Hospice Calgary maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: September 25, 2016 ? September 25, 2019. Social Workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits. Social workers participating in this course will receive 6 continuing education clock hours.

Course Instructor: Laura Coatsworth, BMus MSW RSW
Laura is a Registered Social Worker and counsellor in the Child & Family Grief Services Team at Hospice Calgary. For the last three years, she has supported children, teens and families after a death has occurred and provided education to professionals. Laura is also pursuing certification in play therapy.
