What We Do

Hospice is a philosophy and model of care that provides compassionate, quality care for people with limited life expectancy and those caring for them. It focuses on enhancing comfort, dignity and choice. While patient needs are paramount, care also extends to caregivers, friends and family. Our staff and volunteers dedicate themselves to caring and improving the quality of life for end-of-life cancer patients. We ensure that each resident receives specialized medical and nursing care, focusing on pain and symptom management, as well as emotional and spiritual support, and it is done in a comfortable, safe environment where patients and their loved ones can focus on their time together.

Our Team

We have a full complement of registered nurses and personal care assistants specially trained in end-of-life care. With our Medical Director and palliative physicians, they provide 24 hour individualized care. Social workers, counsellors, a spiritual care coordinator and hospice volunteers complete the inter-disciplinary team ensuring continual reassessment, attention and care to meet the unique needs of residents and their loved ones.
