Hospice Calgary is one organization with two centres of care:

  • Sage Centre for counselling and education and

  • Rosedale Hospice for residential end-of-life care.

Our Promise: Wherever you access our services, we promise to journey with you, through end-of-life and grief, for as long as you need us. We promise to have the difficult conversations about death, dying and grief, hearing your unique story and responding with compassion.

What We Offer: At Sage Centre and Rosedale Hospice, we provide services that guide children, teens, adults and families through the grieving process as they face life-threatening illness and the death of a loved one (including sudden or accidental deaths).

Sage Centre, located in Deerfoot Meadows, is home to our counselling centre, support groups, workshops and administration. Our other centre, Rosedale Hospice, located in the quiet NW neighbourhood of Rosedale, provides 24-hour end-of-life care for adult cancer patients.

Our Partners: Hospice Calgary is a not-for-profit organization and fundraising allows us to offer services at both Sage Centre and Rosedale Hospice.  We gratefully acknowledge the generosity of our many donors and community partners.

Take some time to discover how we can support you – as a parent, family, patient, professional or volunteer.

In 2017 Hospice Calgary was reviewed by Accreditation Canada’s Qmentum accreditation program and was awarded Accreditation with Commendation. Hospice Calgary cares about patient safety and providing quality service. We strive for best practices in high quality health care.
